Rosemary Roasted Walnuts

Makes about 4 homemade gifts, each 2 cups or about 8 cups total

5 cups walnuts
1/4 cup olive oil or 1⁄2 stick melted butter  
1/4 cup fresh rosemary, coarsely chopped  
4 tsp. kosher salt  
1 Tbs. Coconut Palm Sugar (or brown sugar) 
1 Tbs. freshly ground black pepper 

Heat the oven to 350°F & arrange a rack in the middle. 

Place nuts in a large bowl & add remaining ingredients. 

Mix with your hands to evenly coat. 

Spread evenly on a cookies sheet. 

Bake until nuts are lightly browned watch carefully & stir occasionally, about 15-20 minutes.  

Let cool on the baking sheet, transfer to a bowl. 

Bag, tag and gift it.
